"Hill Country Treasures" is a final studio painting that I created from an ACEO (2.5" X 3.5") Thumbnail. I have found that the ACEO's to great springboard to work out the composition, values, and colors before moving on to the final painting. This piece along with several other pieces will be featured at "The Texas Wild Bunch Show" this weekend in Kerrville, Texas. The show is Saturday, March 17th and Sunday, March 18th. The Hill Country Region of Texas is one of my favorite destinations spots and is the inspiration for many of my paintings. "Spring Passage" is about the renewal of God's Creations on Earth. It was God who created Man and Women, the Heavens, and all the beautiful Flowers and Trees that He provided us and for that I am Thankful.
