Commissioned Painting
Here is my latest oil painting that I have been working on for several
weeks now. This is a piece that I was commissioned to do for a client
through The Dutch Art Gallery in Dallas, Texas. The client loved the
colors in one of my existing pieces at the gallery and wanted me to
paint a larger painting. We both met and talked and decided to paint a
triptych on gallery wrap panels. Before finalizing the design, I did a
couple of sketches and few color studies (One in Spring Colors and the
other in Fall). The client liked the Spring Colors, so this is what we
ended up painting! Overall, the painting was fun and it was great
experience getting to do a commission. Enjoy!
